The CLSA visitors were received by Cardinal Angelo Felici, President, and Rev. Arthur Calkins, staff official. Celebration of Sacraments in the Tridentine Rite The CLSA visitors raised only one question for discussion Does permission to use the indult to celebrate the Eucharist in the Tridentine Rite also per se incorporate permission to celebrate the other sacraments (especially Baptism, Confirmation, Marriage) with the Tridentine or pre­Vatican II rituals? Cardinal Felici recognized the question and admitted this was a delicate situation. His response was that permission must be received from this Commission in each instance to celebrate the other sacraments with the pre­Vatican II rituals. (The Fraternity of St. Peter has an indult to celebrate these other sacraments in their ministries.)
